Grow a small garden for weight loss...really?

Along with my passion for sharing how to grow a small garden for weight loss my fascination with updated nutritional research demonstrating how to reverse disease and achieve healthy weight loss ....I love to cook!   I love to eat!

I am a big fan of Ina Garten and her “Barefoot Contessa” cooking  show.

With sincere respect, I will  hence refer to the Food Network Star as “Ina”,  because her gentle sense of humor,  kind hearted delivery and “anyone can do this” attitude are irresistible. 

The relaxed tone, clearly demonstrated cooking techniques, beautiful scenery and soothing music add up to a half hour of cuisine joy!

However, many of the dishes Ina shares with America are foods that nutrition doctors  would say are just the  fare that is keeping America obese.  In order to achieve healthy weight loss these meals chock full of oil, sugar, dairy and flour…   the stuff that leads to obesity, diabetes and heart disease... need to be replaced with superior nutrition.  

Let me assure you that nutritious can always be delicious.

Thanks to doctors like Joel Fuhrman,  Neal Barnard, John McDougall, the team of Michael Roizen and Mehmet Oz,  accurate nutrition research is highlighting  the dangers of low fat/high sugar artificial foods, chemical food additives, artificial sweeteners, and processed foods.  

Yes, sorry to say all those diet snack bars, shakes and the like are keeping Americans unhealthy!  

But here is some good news:  as you build your garden for weight loss, you'll be amazed at how the micronutrients from your dark leafy grrens make you feel better and better, decreasing cravings for unhealthy foods.

There are some good new terms being used to encourage superior nutrition:  

“whole food eating”, “clean eating”,  and “nutritarian” are just few.

superior nutrition means no more calorie counting, portion control or willpower.  

Sound too good to be true?  Well, this is one time that too good to be true is the real deal!

The name of the game is “micronutrients”.
